Damned If They Do; Damned If They Don't

No matter how the elections in Iraq turn out, you can be sure that the dominant media in this country will use the results to bash Bush.

Amazing how we know that, isn't it?

How Far We've Sunk

World Net Daily reports that the U.S. Supreme Court yesterday refused to hear an appeal by pro-life groups in favor of "Choose Life" specialty license plates in South Carolina.

The plates were ruled unconstitutional by the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in a case brought by Planned Parenthood, which had filed the case because it found the message offensive.

The article goes on to point out the Planned Parenthood could have requested a countering plate ("Choose Death"???) from the state legislature.

Unfortunately, the article says nothing about how Justice Souter voted.

Couldn't they have just hired George Maynard to cover up the slogan?

And here's some study material for the next test.
