An Old Soldier Fades Away

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of retired Army Col. David Hackworth. "Hack", as he was affectionately known, was a thorn in the eye of the "perfumed princes" at the Pentagon. He was also one of this country's most decorated veterans and didn't stop serving even when he retired.

Since 1997, he wrote a commentary for World Net Daily. He also served as chairman of Soldiers for The Truth, which has posted his bio .
