Have A Happy What???
At the end of her news break going into Fox's Special Report with Brit Hume, Page Hopkins signs off with "Have a happy Memorial Day".
What???
Sorry, ma'am, but Memorial Day is not usually associated with the word "happy". This is the day set aside to remember and honor those who have given their lives in the service of their country. It should be marked by somber reflection, not warm fuzzies and smiley faces.
Of course, this should not come as too much of a surprise in a country where every "holiday" is seen only as a cause for entertainment and -- worse yet -- commerce.
God help America...

Unfortunately, you're probably right. Of course, the major reason this country is rapidly forgetting its history is because it's no longer taught in government schools.
