So it seems The Empty Suit has chosen The Empty Head to be his running mate. Such a perfect match.
And the useful idiots are lapping it up. Try engaging one of their supporters in an intelligent conversation about the specifics of this campaign, and all you'll get is blank stares. And perhaps something mumbled about "hope" and "change".
God help America.

I look at Barack O-bomb-ya and John McMarkofcain, and a sick feeling comes over me: Is this the best we can do?

Then I remember that crap also rises to the top.
Some years back, someone made that crack to The Old Sarge. About how "the cream always rises to the top". His response was "Yeah, so does pond scum".
By the bye, Lem over at Hillbilly White Trash agrees with you. His remark was along the lines of "Out of 300 million Americans, this is the best we can do?".
God help Amerika.
Why TF do we get 50 choices for Miss America, but only two for President, and those two usually being the stupidest robots they got?
